Drink water

Water fills you up, so it should be your go-to drink. We all love to ring in the holidays with a cocktail or two, but there are a lot of empty calories in alcoholic beverages. One drink won’t bust your diet, but be sure to drink water after you treat yourself to keep yourself feeling full.

Start with fruits and veggies

Every holiday party has an array of goodies to eat. Usually, there are a few healthy items on the table, so start with those. Avoid dips and dressings unless there is a low fat option available.

Pace yourself

Don’t skip the exercise

The holiday season can be hectic, but it’s important to stick to your dieting and exercise routine. To many people get thrown off their routine during the holidays. Once you’re off the schedule, it’s hard to go back.
