Prices for a 10-milligram tablet of Staxyn at CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart were unchanged in November 2019. In fact, prices for the erectile dysfunction drug haven’t changed at those three retail chains since August.
Prices for Staxyn held steady at CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart in November 2019 for the fourth month in a row, according to Secure Medical’s monthly review of select prescription drug prices.

Prices Fell from July to August
Although unchanged for August through November, the prices for Staxyn at each of these major pharmacy retailers were down from their levels in July 2019. At that time, CVS was charging $40.72 for a 10-milligram tablet of Staxyn, while comparable prices at Walgreens and Walmart were $40.97 and $38.97, respectively.
The average price of Staxyn at CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart in July 2019 was $40.22. In the period from August through November, the average price was $35.20, a decrease of roughly 12.5 percent. No apparent reason for this price decrease could be found.
Takes Effect Rapidly
As previously noted, Staxyn dissolves quickly in the mouth. Because this speeds the delivery of its active ingredient into the bloodstream, it has been known to take effect in as little as 15 minutes, which is faster than either Viagra or Levitra, which takes 30 to 60 minutes. Staxyn’s duration of action is approximately four hours, similar to those of Viagra and Levitra.
