Don’t let the symptoms of erectile dysfunction spoil your summer vacation. Be sure to pack all the pills you’ll need, but if you still run short, take advantage of overnight delivery from eDrugstore.com.

The countdown to the start of your summer vacation is on, and you’re struggling to put your home in order and gather everything to pack for your getaway. Don’t make the mistake that many do and neglect to pack enough medications to carry you through your time away from home.

For men who treat their erectile dysfunction with Viagra or another oral ED medication, that means making sure you’ve got enough of those drugs packed away to meet your romantic needs during vacation. And because vacation brings relaxation and plenty of leisure time, your opportunities for romance are far greater than they would be at home.

Visit Doctor Before Vacation

In a guest post at CheapAir.com, registered nurse Jean Cherry, writing on behalf of Walgreens, recommends that those who will soon head off on vacation pay a visit to their doctor four to six weeks before leaving.

It’s a good idea to have your doctor give you a quick checkover to ensure that you’re healthy enough to travel. And while you’re there, get prescriptions for any medications you take that are likely to run out before your return from vacation. And be sure to get those filled before you leave.

Here are a few other suggestions from Cherry about preparations to make before heading off on your summer getaway:

  • If you’re visiting a tropical country or another destination where certain diseases are endemic, get all the required vaccinations to protect you and your family.
  • Pack according to your destination. If you’re headed to the Caribbean, pack lightweight clothes, preferably shorts and cotton shirts, along with a somewhat more formal outfit in case you want to go out to a fancy restaurant or nightclub during your stay. If, however, you’re off to cooler climes, pack plenty of sweaters, jackets, and other cold-weather gear.
  • Medications that you take on a regular basis should be packed into your carry-on luggage along with a complete list of all your medications. Ideally, you should bring each prescription drug in its original container along with a copy of the relevant prescription for that drug. Be sure to include a few extra pills of each drug so that you’ll be covered should your vacation run into an unexpected delay or extension.
  • In addition to any prescriptions you take on a regular basis, pack any over-the-counter drugs or products that you might conceivably need while gone. This would include a basic first-aid kit to cope with cuts and bruises, as well as medications to cope with indigestion, diarrhea, motion sickness, and seasonal allergies.
  • To ensure that you vacation is a safe and healthy experience, don’t try to undertake excursions or activities that are too challenging for your overall physical condition. Know your limits.
  • Make sure you don’t overlook any of the must-have items you’ll need for travel. These include a passport, driver’s license, or other form of photo-ID, a wallet, keys, cell phone, and any electronic equipment you might use to stay in touch with those at home while you travel.
