About ED3 – ED3 is a compounded prescription medication that may be prescribed for an individually identified adult patient following an evaluation by a licensed healthcare provider. The prescribing provider will determine whether this formulation is appropriate based on the patients medical history, current medications, potential contraindications, prior treatment experience, and individual clinical needs.
ED3 may contain three prescription ingredients when determined appropriate by the prescribing healthcare provider:
Tadalafil (20mg) – A phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. FDA-approved tadalafil products are indicated for erectile dysfunction and certain other medical conditions. The inclusion of tadalafil in this compounded formulation does not make ED3 an FDA-approved medication.
PT-141 / Bremelanotide (1mg) – A melanocortin receptor agonist included in this compounded formulation when prescribed for an individual patient. This compounded use and dosage form have not been FDA-approved for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
Oxytocin (1 IU) – Included as a component of this compounded formulation when determined appropriate by the prescribing healthcare provider. This compounded use has not been FDA-approved for the treatment of erectile dysfunction or sexual enhancement.
Medical Evaluation Required – Before treatment is prescribed, a licensed healthcare provider will review relevant medical history, cardiovascular health, current medications, allergies, potential drug interactions, and contraindications.
Individualized Treatment – The healthcare provider determines the appropriate formulation, strength, dosing instructions, frequency of use, and follow-up requirements for each patient.
Compounded Prescription Medication – ED3 is prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy pursuant to a valid prescription for an individually identified patient.
Use Only as Prescribed – Patients should follow the specific instructions provided by their prescribing healthcare provider and should not increase the dose or frequency of use without medical guidance.
ED3 is a compounded prescription medication and is not an FDA-approved combination drug. The FDA does not review compounded medications for safety, effectiveness, or quality before they are marketed. A licensed healthcare provider must determine whether a compounded medication is appropriate for the individual patient.
Individual response to treatment may vary. Patients should discuss the potential benefits, risks, side effects, contraindications, and alternative treatment options with their healthcare provider before beginning treatment.
ED3 should only be obtained pursuant to a valid prescription and dispensed by an appropriately licensed pharmacy. Do not purchase prescription medications from websites or sellers that do not require an appropriate medical evaluation and prescription. Products obtained from unverified sources may contain incorrect ingredients, inappropriate strengths, contaminants, or other substances that could create health risks.
ED3 is a compounded medication and is not a commercially manufactured or FDA-approved combination drug. The appearance, formulation, and packaging of compounded medications may vary depending on the dispensing pharmacy and the individual prescription.
ED3 should be used only according to the instructions provided by your prescribing healthcare provider. Because ED3 is an individualized compounded medication, dosing, timing, and frequency may differ from patient to patient.
