Eddie McGuire’s Face Used in Fake Erectile Dysfunction Ads on Facebook
Eddie McGuire, co-host of Australia’s popular show “The Hot Breakfast,” was threatening to sue Facebook over fake erectile dysfunction ads running on its site.

The ad, which uses McGuire’s face, also includes a fake quote saying that McGuire has tried Viagra but prefers TryVexan.

The ad for TryVexan, which is made to look like an GQ article, has since been taken down. The ad even claims that McGuire is in a partnership with Dr. Phil McGraw.

It seems that McGuire’s lawsuit wouldn’t go very far. According to lawyer Justin Quill, the law in Australia states that Facebook isn’t liable for defamatory information that it hosts while it isn’t aware of it, and Facebook took down the fake erectile dysfunction ad as soon as it was notified.

Real help for erectile dysfunction

Unlike TryVexan, which claims to help erectile dysfunction thanks to ingredients like horny goat weed and monkey head mushroom, men with erectile dysfunction can get real help from Viagra.

Viagra is the most popular erectile dysfunction drug in the world and men in the United States can get it via prescription from a doctor. Requiring a prescription allows the FDA to help ensure that what men are getting is pure and effective.

Unfortunately, too many men are trying to get fake Viagra off the Black Market and either getting sick or even dying. That’s because some fake Viagra contains toxins, such as road paint, detergent, and even arsenic.

Discussing Viagra with your doctor

In addition to ensuring that your Viagra is real and effective, going through a doctor provides some additional benefits. It will give the doctor the chance to review your current medications, vitamins, and supplements to ensure that none interacts with Viagra. These include medications like alpha blockers, certain antifungals, and nitrates, among others.

Getting Viagra from a doctor will also help ensure that men try to get to the root cause of their erectile dysfunction. Erectile dysfunction is commonly caused by diabetes, heart disease, smoking, stress, anxiety, and depression.

Talking to a doctor can also help ensure that you’re healthy enough to have sex and to take Viagra. Some men should avoid taking Viagra, so be sure to discuss things like high and low blood pressure, strokes, diabetes, kidney or liver disease, Peyronie’s disease and your risk of heart attack.
