How Much Are Cialis and Tadalafil at CVS, Walgreens, & Walmart in November 2020?

Walmart has the lowest price for both Cialis and tadalafil among the three major pharmacies covered in this blog post. However, despite the lower per-pill prices at conventional pharmacies, ordering online from eDrugstore can save you time and money when you take into consideration all that you get for your money.

Based on their 2018 prescription drug revenues, CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart are America’s three largest retail pharmacy chains. And not surprisingly, these ubiquitous chains often offer among the lowest prices on popular prescription drugs, including erectile dysfunction medicines.

And so it is with Cialis and tadalafil, the second most popular brand-name ED drug and its generic equivalent. The latter made its long-awaited debut in the United States in late September 2018.

Walmart Prices Are the Lowest

Based on currently posted prices for a 20 milligram tablet of Cialis, Walmart now has the best deal for this popular ED drug from Eli Lilly & Company with a price of $73.91. This brings the cost of 10 milligram dose — the recommended starting dose — from Walmart to $36.96.

Cost-conscious shoppers usually buy double-strength tablets, which cost the same as lower-strength pills, and then split them in half to yield two doses for the price of one.

CVS Comes in Second

As you can see from the accompanying price table, CVS is a close second. Pharmacy departments at CVS offer 20 milligram Cialis for $76.16, or $38.08 per 10 milligram dose. Last among these three major pharmacy chains is Walgreens, which charges $76.18 for a 20 milligram Cialis, or $38.09 per 10 milligram dose.

The pattern is identical when it comes to tadalafil. At $10.79 for a 20 milligram pill, or $5.40 per 10 milligram dose, Walmart has the lowest price, followed by CVS ($13.37/$6.69) and Walgreens ($13.39/$6.70).

Ordering Online Could Be Cheaper

Should you decide instead to order your Cialis or tadalafil online, the cost per dose will be higher, but the price you pay per pill will get you far more than what you’ll receive from conventional pharmacies in terms of both time and money.

As you can see from the table, longtime online facilitator eDrugstore’s cost per 10 milligram dose of Cialis is higher than those at the brick-and-mortar pharmacies. However, that’s only part of the story.

Consider eDrugstore’s Complimentary Extras

When you buy a pill at a conventional pharmacy, you pay the posted price, and you get the pill. That’s pretty much it. However, when you order online from eDrugstore, for example, the price per pill has a number of extras built in.

If you already have a doctor’s prescription, you can fax it or scan and email it along with your order to eDrugstore. That will save you the time and travel involved with filling a prescription at a brick-and-mortar pharmacy. But if you don’t yet have a prescription, eDrugstore can set up a complimentary online consultation with a licensed U.S. physician who can authorize a prescription if appropriate. And that could be a very substantial savings indeed.

Shipping Is Free

Once you place your online order, eDrugstore packages your shipment discreetly and sends it off, free of cost, to your home, workplace, or any other destination that works for you. If it’s your first shipment from eDrugstore, a complimentary pill splitter is tossed in as yet another freebie.

Based in Tempe, Arizona, eDrugstore has been in business since the late 1990s. In addition to Cialis and tadalafil, the online facilitator offers a full range of all available erectile dysfunction medications — both brand-name and generic. To learn more, visit its Erectile Dysfunction page.
