Consumers are overwhelmed by erection issues drugs these days. There are pills, herbal supplements, teas even gum that claims it can enhance your sex life, so what really works? Doctors and average men ,that have tried various options, weigh in.
The Mayo Clinic website has an entire write up about this topic and warns consumers against products that sell a lot of hype. “Be wary of any product that claims to be a natural form of Viagra. Herbal supplements aren’t required to undergo the testing that prescription and over-the-counter medications are — so it’s often difficult to say which ones are safe or effective.”
Joe Libbeal, a 58 year old retired construction worker says men shouldn’t waste their time with the drinks or supplements that claim to do the same as Viagra. “I’m here to tell you I have tried both the herbal Viagra and the real blue pill and there is no comparison, the pill is better,” he said. “I’m not a doctor but I can tell you from first hand experience, don’t bother with the fake stuff.”
Bob Friller, a 62 year old man from Minnesota, says the pill is the only thing that gave him real results. “My wife brought home some sort of sex tea before and it didn’t do a darn thing,” he said. “Just talk to you doctor about taking Viagra, it really is worth it.”
Another reason to be wary is that you can’t be certain what you’re taking. “Some products marketed as “herbal viagras” have been pulled off the market because they contain undeclared prescription medications. It can be dangerous to take supplements that contain unknown amounts of prescription medications or other unidentified ingredients,” according to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.
Even if you do decide to try an alternative medication it is wise to chat with your doctor first to make sure it’s right for you.
