Dr. Kenton Crowley
Dr. Crowley is currently the VP of Research and Education and Chief Medical Officer for Farm to Farma Inc., dba Trokie. Kenton Crowley is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of California, San Francisco, and completed his residency with Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles, CA. He completed his Fellowship in Genomic, Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine in 2011.
During his 38 years in practice, he has worked in all areas of pharmacy practice, including primary research at UCI, Dept. of Pediatrics, Division of Child Development, involved in the development of several drugs. He is also the inventor of two patents in neuropathic pain and two patents on a buccal delivery system incorporating cannabis.
Dr. Crowley is a member of the Society of Cannabis Clinicians, a member of the International Cannabinoid Research Society, the International Society of Cannabis Pharmacists, and is on the Board and Chairs the Research Advisory Board for the American Osteopathic Society of Rheumatic Diseases and Integrative Medicine.
Dr. Crowley was asked by a friend in 2014 to help a child ease discomfort who was battling terminal cancer. He knew the troche buccal delivery was effective and started working with phytocannabinoids using this delivery system. When the child had such a quick response and relief in pain when nothing else had worked, family members and doctors encouraged him to keep exploring this route of administration for phytocannabinoids, and Trokie was born.
