Jessica J. Krant, M.D., M.P.H. is a board-certified dermatologist in NYC specializing in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology, with fellowship training in Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery. She is the founder of Art of Dermatology LLC, a private practice in Manhattan, and as Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, she helps train future dermatologists.
Dr. Krant serves on several professional committees including the Professional Conduct Committee and Legislative Advocacy Committees of the ASDS and the State Policy Committee of the AAD. She is a member of the Medical Council of the Skin Cancer Foundation, and was chosen to attend the American Academy of Dermatology’s Leadership Forum, a venue for supporting the development of leaders in the specialty. Dr. Krant has given many local community presentations on skin cancer, sunscreens, and skin health, and has authored textbook chapters as well as journal articles for publication, consulted for industry, and presented at medical conferences. Her opinions are quoted in the press and she has been a regular beauty columnist for Consumer’s Union ShopSmart Magazine as well as a contributor to their OnHealth Newsletter.
