Almost $10,000 worth of Viagra has gone missing from British Military supplies in the last seven years, according to the UK Ministry of Defense. Viagra is just one of the many things that have disappeared from the ministry.

Ministry of Defense is a victim of theft

The Ministry of Defense is on the lookout for 100 bayonets, gun parts and thousands of rounds of ammunition that have vanished as well. An aircraft fuselage and submarine parts are also no where to be found.

Authorities say they’re looking into the thefts.

“The security of our personnel and assets remains of paramount importance and the MoD works hard to detect and deter theft,” said a spokeswoman for the ministry.

“There are robust processes in place to raise awareness of the need for vigilance in all aspects of security, but just as theft occurs in wider society, the MoD is not immune and we actively encourage individuals to report any evidence of loss or suspicion of theft.”

British military isn’t the only one dealing Viagra theft

A doctor, working for the National Health Service, claims he forged prescriptions for Viagra because he was too embarrassed to talk to his own doctor about his sexual problems. Dr. Mansoor Kassim, 37, told a court judge that he was having “marital troubles” when he forged about $600 worth of the anti-impotence pill, Viagra.

The doctor’s attorney, Lee Gledhill, says Kassim feels “ashamed.”

“Ordinarily he is a professional with high standards. It was a significant error of judgement in prescribing this anti-impotence drug,” Gledhill says. “He comes from a traditional Indian community and his background is really quite prudish. He feels a great deal of shame now this problems have been revealed publicly.”
