You remember Herman Cain, right? He was the 2012 presidential with the 9-9-9 tax plan who wound up suspending his campaign amid allegations of sexual misconduct. While the want-to-be politician is apparently using the email list that he generated, some 360,000+ names, to send bizarre emails. One of which included this as a subject line: “BREAKTHROUGH: REMEDY FOR ED!”

What’s the so-called remedy?

According to New Republic, recipients of this email could sit through a video that touted, TestoMax 200, as a natural testosterone booster. Interested parties could buy a month’s worth of this “wonder drug” for $69.99.

Why is Cain doing this?

Cain is reportedly sending out these kind of promotional emails to make a few bucks.

Apparently, he isn’t the only presidential candidate to pitch less-than-credible products through an email list.

According to the site, “Gingrich Productions with messages from an investment firm formed by a conspiracy theorist successfully sued for fraud by the Securities and Exchange Commission. Mike Huckabee uses his own production company’s list to blast out links to heart-disease fixes and can’t-miss annuities.”

Is Cain promoting this "remedy" just to make cash? Analysts say yes.

What legitimate treatments are available for erectile dysfunction?

Supplements and testosterone boosters make a lot of claims, but many are unsafe. Earlier this month, six supplements claiming to treat erectile dysfunction were recalled by the FDA.

There are only five FDA-approved medications for erectile dysfunction: Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, Staxyn and Stendra. All of these medications require a prescription.
