Javoc Vaisman, the former director of the erectile dysfunction clinic, Advanced Medical Institute, became well known after he was busted for preying on men who suffered from erectile dysfunction.
Among other claims, Vaisman would tell men that their penises would shrink without his treatment.
He also refused to give a 90-year-old blind man a refund, telling the customer that his 86-year-old old wife with Parkinson’s disease could administer his penis injections.
Someone who worked at the erectile dysfunction clinic testified that Vaisman would often fail to tell patients about potentially dangerous side effects and often charged thousands of dollars for ineffective erectile dysfunction treatments.

In January 2018, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) took bankruptcy action against Vaisman for his failure to pay the ACCC’s legal costs of $3,679,359.
