Both Cialis and its generic, tadalafil, were lower in price in March 2020 than they were nine months earlier, but the most dramatic price drop was for tadalafil.
The Big 3 ED Drugs
Cialis and tadalafil are among the “Big 3” brand-name erectile dysfunction (ED) drugs and their generic counterparts, a group that also includes:
- Viagra and sildenafil
- Levitra and vardenafil
They share “Big 3” honors because they have traditionally rung up the three highest sales totals among all ED medications.
Cialis and tadalafil distinguish themselves from their Big 3 honorees in both their onset and duration of action. While Cialis and tadalafil take a bit longer to take effect, usually 60 to 120 minutes, their effects last for up to 36 hours, far longer than those of Viagra/sildenafil or Levitra/vardenafil.
On-Demand Drugs
