health, spots, fatigue, tired, energy, holisticThe inability to complete the last article of common health problems has allowed this bit of information overflow to roll on into this article. I know that many of us have a list of daily ailments that not only confuse us but give us a headache even trying to figure out how to stop the issue at hand. Who has time to endlessly Google “red speckles under eyes” or “twitching eyelid”. In the next few paragraphs, I hope to solve some of your unsolved mysteries with your body and the odd things it does.

Broken Veins and Red Speckles

Why is it that sometimes you wake up, look in the mirror and find your delicate under eye skin is coated in tiny bright red speckles with some funky broken vein looking a mess? This is an easy fix. Stop drinking and smoking so much the night before. Nicotine and alcohol restrict blood vessels causing them to have tiny ruptures, thus causing your speckled look. If you need a quick fix for this spotty look, try taking a couple of ibuprofen, drinking tons of water and vitamin-infused water and putting a cooling mask on your face. This will calm the redness and your mind.

Constant Thirst

This has a pretty simple solution. Most of the time dehydration is caused by the large amount of salt we consume. Take salt out of your diet and you’ll be thirsty when you’re actually thirsty. Also, a lot of the time when you’re thirsty, you may actually just need a snack. The same goes for hunger. Often times we think we’re hungry when actually in all reality we’re simply thirsty. Also, on a more serious note, constant thirst can be a sign of diabetes. Try drinking about one cup’s worth of water every time you get thirsty. Drinking too much water can make you expel important vitamins.

Sleepy all the Time

We all have tired Mondays and can be mentally exhausted after working a long day, whichhealth, spots, fatigue, tired, energy, holistic will make you blame your body for being physically tired. This isn’t always the case. Make sure you’re not consuming empty calories in the means of sugar, processed foods, and carbs. These will all make you crash, causing exhaustion. When you leave work, make a point of doing something physically active every day. It will increase your blood flow and promote energy and stamina.

Limbs Falling Asleep

This is a sign of poor circulation. You need to make sure to move around enough in the day. If your job is demanding and requires you to sit at a desk for 8 hours a day, go for a brisk walk after work to get your blood flowing. Also, make sure you’re breathing correctly. Short shallow breaths can lead to a lowered oxygen level in the blood, causing numbness. Get up and do something!
