Miami is a beautiful city that is teeming with life. With delicious restaurants, hilarious comedy clubs, fun movie theaters, and more, it can be hard to decide what you want to do.

If you’re planning a date, you want to ensure that you have a memorable night. So where can you go in Miami that’s awesome and memorable?

Restaurants and Bars
Miami is home to many delicious restaurants. If you want to go somewhere that has a fantastic view, I recommend Azul, which is located inside the Mandarin Oriental Hotel on Brickell Key. Not only is the food fantastic, but it also offers a spectacular view of Biscayne Bay.

If you’re looking for some great music and great food, check out The Van Dyke, which is located on Lincoln Road. This gorgeous, ivy covered building is renowned for its delicious breakfast, which is offered all day. After you grab a delicious meal, head upstairs to the aptly named Upstairs at Van Dyke, to take in a jazz act at the legendary venue.

If this all sounds a bit pretentious, then you should keep it simple and head over to Tobacco Road, which holds the prestigious title of Miami’s oldest bar. They offer the best cheeseburger in the entire city (some say in the entire state of Florida), and they regularly have great blues acts grace their stage.

Cinematics and Themeparks!
If sitting down and talking over a meal isn’t your idea of a good date, Miami offers plenty of fun alternatives.

Check out the SoundScape Cinema Series at the New World Center. This free open-air movie venue shows a variety of fantastic movies in a beautiful setting, with showings of everything from modern-day fare like The Avengers to classics like To Kill A Mockingbird.

Or you can skip the movie and go see some wild animals at Jungle Island. This zoo-attraction offers a wide array of exotic animals, and is famous for its shows, such as the Tale of the Tiger, which allows the audience to get up close and personal with the big cats.

If you feel like laughing, check out Just The Funny Theater. Located in scenic Little Havana, the theater is home to an outrageous troupe of improv actors, who pride themselves on never putting on the same show twice. They encourage audience participation, so one of your suggestions may end up shaping the show.

Miami has a plethora of fantastic things to do on a date, so get out and explore the city!
