C’mon, really? Top celebrities aren’t going to risk their reputations endorsing sketchy erectile dysfunction (ED) medications. You can safely assume that ads stating as much are bogus.
The website healthnetwork.website and two other websites have been caught in a very big web of lies. The sites have been selling several bogus erectile dysfunction pills, including Biogenic XR, and falsely claiming that the pills have been endorsed by Jay-Z, Colin Firth and even Hugh Hefner, who died last year.
Plenty of fake claims
The online scammers also claim that they won a record-breaking deal on the TV show Dragons’ Den and the American version, Shark Tank.
Worst still, the websites promise men free samples of the erectile dysfunction pills, but then use tiny print to explain that recipients will be signing up for a monthly subscription.
The scammers go on to continue the long list of lies, saying that Biogenic won the most-watched episode of Shark Tank and was created by brothers Dave and Mark Williams, who they claim appeared on the show to pitch the product. Even the photo being used is a lie.
The brothers shown in the photo on the scammers’ website is of Richard and Albert Amini, who were slated to pitch an online doctor platform, not erectile dysfunction pills.
There’s also a website promoting something called Test Troxin, that claims that “Never before had the judging panel unanimously decided to each invest over a million dollars into a potential company.” The falsehood supposedly refers to the episode of Dragons’ Den, which, it’s worth noting, uses investments in pounds, not dollars.
There’s also a fake quote from Deborah Meaden, one of the Dragons’ Den investors, that reads, “Alpha Pro Testobuild is revolutionizing ED (erectile dysfunction) medicine.”
