Colonial High School wrestling coach and physical education teacher Sean Grove was caught allegedly selling erectile dysfunction (ED) drugs, such as Viagra, to his students.

Police found two vials of erectile dysfunction drugs, including Viagra, in Grove’s car.

Until his case goes to court for charges of possession of a controlled substance, Grove is on administrative leave.

His team is about to begin the 2018 season without a coach. Grove told a TV station in Orlando that he was set up by “an ex-wife, ex-girlfriend or a competing weightlifting coach.”

Viagra requires a prescription

Erectile dysfunction drugs like Viagra require a prescription from a doctor, something Grove didn’t have.

There are reasons that the FDA-approved Viagra must be obtained through a doctor. First, the FDA can ensure that the erectile dysfunction drugs you’re getting are actually Viagra and not counterfeit, toxic pills.

In addition, requiring a prescription means that men with erectile dysfunction will need to see their doctor. This will help them discuss any known or unknown health conditions that may be causing the erectile dysfunction, such as diabetes or heart disease.

Finally, requiring a prescription for Viagra helps prevent men from taking Viagra with contraindicated medicines. A doctor can review any current medicines, legal or illegal drugs or even supplements that can interfere and interact with Viagra.

Medicines that can interact with Viagra

There are some drugs that men shouldn’t take with Viagra, including nitrates, “poppers” and guanylate cyclase stimulators.

Other drugs are questionable, so you’ll need to talk to your doctor first to weigh the risks. These include alpha-blockers, blood pressure medications, oral antifungals, HIV medicines, other erectile dysfunction drugs and certain antibiotics.

Men with Erectile Dysfunction will need to see their doctor

Don’t assume that treatment for prostate cancer will mean you’ll automatically get erectile dysfunction or that you’ll never be able to have sex. With the help of Viagra, you might be back to intercourse in no time.
