Dating, Romance, Bars, Intimacy, Sex, ViagraNo matter what we do sometimes it seems we are destined to end up with Mr. or Ms. Wrong. They always start off so promising and go downhill so fast we can barely even keep up with their colossal failures. I have been there many times and I know how frustrating it can be to go through what seems like the clearance rack of love. Here’s a few pointers how to avoid the clearance rack but still come away looking marvelous!

Where?

The setting, time of day and place you’re meeting this potential love interest matters when it come to doing it right or setting yourself up for failure.

If you find yourself sipping on your beer at 1:45am in the local bar while eyeing the few ladies who are too drunk to find their way to the cab, then that’s your sign that you’re doing it wrong.

The only ladies that will be approaching you are the ones who need someone to pay their tab, give them a ride or make them feel special in some other way that you really aren’t going to be able to do. You don’t want to go down this road, especially if you want anything real from the relationship. This goes the same for the guy who approaches you and your friends at the end of the night. Just don’t do it.

When?

Obviously, 2am isn’t a great time to meet someone if you’re a normal nine to fiver but ifDating, Romance, Bars, Intimacy, Sex, Viagra you work in a hospital and your lunch is at 2am, then by all means, meet away. Just make sure that you are in a clear state of mind when making judgment calls. Time really doesn’t matter as much as being alert, looking for signs of danger and knowing what you don’t want. If a one night stand with a drunk stranger is what you want, know your limits and use caution. Always use protection and make sure your partner isn’t too drunk to make clear decisions about the frolic. Also, not a bad idea to pack the Viagra.

What?

Know what you are looking for and what you’re not looking for. The sculpted fellow working in the club hitting on all the girls around him is obviously not real life. You need to know what isn’t realistic and what is. Also, get to know someone a bit before jumping to future conclusions. You never know what you’re going to get.
