Who feels like getting in the car and driving to the doctor\u2019s office for yet another sinus infection when it can be diagnosed via telemedicine, with an e-prescription being sent automatically to the patient\u2019s favorite pharmacy?<\/p>\n<p>And during flu season, the possibility of being exposed to flu in a waiting room while waiting to be seen for some other minor malady can be downright scary, particularly for people who have no choice but to take their kids with them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Telemedicine Plus Telecommuting Yielding Multiple Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Companies that offer telemedicine benefits either independently or through their insurer can save significantly on company medical costs and reduce the amount of time workers have to be out of the office to visit a doctor in person.
