R\"\"<\/a>esearch shows Nasacort, a once-daily nasal spray, is preferred over Claritin to fight allergies.\u00a0 The odorless, taste-free spray fights the pesky infections that can come on strong during allergy season.<\/p>\n

\nWith the help of about 350 patients that deal with seasonal allergies, including hay fever, doctors were able to evaluate the differences and benefits of two allergy medications: Nasacort and Claritin.<\/p>\n

During the four week study patients said that Nasacort relieved their congestion, runny nose, nasal itch and sneezing faster and more effectively than Claritin.<\/p>\n

Quality of Life<\/strong>
\nThat same group also said their quality of life was improved while using Nasacort<\/a>.\u00a0 “At day 14, Nasacort AQ patients reported a significantly better quality of life in activity, emotions, nasal symptoms, practical problems and overall quality of life.\u00a0 At day 28, those patients maintained a better quality of life over Claritin-treated patients in activity, nasal symptoms, practical problems and overall quality of life.”<\/p>\n

The allergy \u2018plague\u2019<\/strong>
\n\u201cI don\u2019t know what I did in a previous life to deserve allergies as bad as I have them,\u201d Diana Ruthel said jokingly.\u00a0 Every season, like clockwork, this construction worker is plagued with allergies.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u201cI have a runny nose, watery eyes and congestion,\u201d she said.\u00a0 \u201cIt gets so bad that I have had to leave work on several occasions because I can\u2019t even think straight.\u201d\u00a0 With a job in the construction industry, safety is always a concern.\u00a0 Ruthel says nasal sprays have become the best solution for her.<\/p>\n
