Ever driven a sports car, had a great time driving around mountain roads and through beautiful scenery, and just felt like James Bond while you\u2019re doing it?<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a wonderful feeling, and if you haven\u2019t had the opportunity, I hope you do someday.<\/p>\n

But even a pretty fast car will often leave you wondering, what is it like to drive something<\/p>\n

even faster? Technology these days is incredible, and it\u2019s easy to wonder just how much more fun you could have.<\/p>\n

The Fastest Car on the Road<\/strong>
\nWell, one thing’s for certain. Anyone driving the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport <\/a>is having a lot of fun.<\/p>\n

This marvel of consumer technology is the world\u2019s fastest road car, clocking in at over 267 miles per hour. Not surprisingly, it\u2019s also the most expensive. The price tag on this bad boy is over $2.4 million.<\/p>\n

This 16 cylinder beast of an engine has been upgraded over the original Bucatti Veyron, and now offers 1200 horsepower.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not just the top speed that\u2019s incredible, though. It does zero-to-sixty in 2.4 seconds, and even more impressive, it can go from 0 to 100 and back to 0 again in just 9 seconds.<\/p>\n

But the last stat of all that will blow your mind is this: the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport can go from 0 to 200 and then back to 0 in just 27 seconds<\/a>. That\u2019s sitting from a dead stop, all the way to 200 miles per hour, and then back to zero again — all in a matter of seconds.<\/p>\n

The Bugatti obviously takes premium gasoline, and gets 10 miles to the gallon — a respectable figure, considering its 16 cylinders and all the horsepower they deliver.<\/p>\n

Each of the Veyrons currently in existence — and there aren\u2019t many — is completely unique. Some common design specs do exist, however, such as the fact that all seats are quilted in premium cowhide. It takes 14 cows to give the hides for one car, and these are no normal cows. (Who\u2019d have guessed?)<\/p>\n
