Dr. Kathryn<\/strong><\/a><\/strong><\/a> combines experience and expertise in her insightful approach to counseling. \u00a0Her own personal journey reflects challenges and triumphs that truly enhance her ability to help others through their own life transitions.
\nDr. Kathryn’s experience includes her work with The\u00a0Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence in Ventura, CA.\u00a0 Specializing in sexual assault survivors and those who developed chronic health issues, such as fibromyalgia and post traumatic stress disorder, as a result of the assault. She has since relocated to Northern California where she began her own practice and developed a unique approach that she calls, “Casual Counseling.” \u00a0She has retired her practice in order to focus on reaching a broader audience through speaking engagements, workshops and writing. In her new book, “Take Charge! A Pocket Guide for Coping with Life”<\/em>, Dr. Kathryn takes a conversational approach and shares personal experiences, offering a healthy perspective on issues that everyone faces at one time or another in life. \u00a0It is a wonderful balance of real life client stories, personal triumphs and techniques to help cope with issues and relationships.<\/p>\n
