It’s unlikely to do so, at least right now.\u00a0 Pfizer is currently testing the product, and would have to engage in a few more trials in the US before it could sell the gum in America.\u00a0 It also has stated that demand for Viagra gum in the US is not currently that high, but this may change as the word gets out and people become more interested in it.<\/p>\n

Why Are They Making Viagra Gum In The First Place?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Woman<\/a> Pfizer is doing this because its chemical patent is expiring in 2012.\u00a0 They still have a patent on using Viagra as a treatment for erectile dysfunction, but that patent will likely be dismissed by the court and besides, there are other uses for Viagra that will allow generics to come to market without being marketed specifically for impotence.<\/p>\n

So Pfizer is doing what it can to maintain its brand and continue to sell Viagra.\u00a0 Bayer already sells a version of Levitra that dissolves quickly in water and can be taken more discreetly.<\/p>\n
