Supposedly, women have remarkable noses, and can smell the genetic makeup of men.  According to a new study though, birth control can throw off a woman’s sense of smell<\/a> when it comes to sniffing out men who are good genetic matches.<\/p>\n

Studies have shown that women are attracted to genetically different mates.  Birth control pills seem to affect this attraction, however.  The study, which involved women smelling t-shirts, revealed that women taking birth control pills were attracted men genetically similar to themselves, whereas before taking the pill, they preferred genetically different men.<\/p>\n

If this is true, then one could assume that starting or stopping the pill after marrying someone could have dangerous results for the relationship.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
