It works by exerting a constant pulling force on your penis, mechanically stretching and extending it. Unlike surgery, it is noninvasive.<\/p>\n<p>How is Andropenis different from jelqing, you might ask? <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edrugstore.com\/blog\/erectile-dysfunction\/jelquing-do-these-work\/\">Jelqing<\/a> is a massage technique that involves the stretching and repeated \u201cmilking\u201d of the penis from base to glans. We don\u2019t know whether jelqing works for penis enlargement, but we know it may <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC5313309\/\">damage the penis<\/a> through fibrosis and bruising. But how solid are its scientific credentials?<\/p>\n<h4>Spanish Study<\/h4>\n<p>In February 2001, Dr. Eduardo A. Gomez de Diego of the Andromedical Clinic in Madrid, Spain, presented a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.andropenis.si\/storage\/andropenis.si\/Documents\/Pdf\/1_penile_enlargement_without_surgery.pdf\">market study<\/a> confirming the efficacy of the Andropenis penis enlargement device.<\/p>\n<p>Thirty-seven men took part in the study, agreeing to wear the device for 10 hours daily, from three to six months. During the experiment, they gradually increased the pulling force from 600 to 1,200 grams by the end of the final month. According to the study authors, the results were impressive.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">The average length increase participants experienced was around 0.5 centimeters per month.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">At the end of the six months, the average length increase was 3.3 centimeters, or about 1.3 inches.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">95% of study participants saw increases in length and girth.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">The size gains were present in both flaccid and erect states.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">The device worked equally well for young and older patients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Study Limitations<\/h4>\n<p>While these results seem impressive, there are several limitations that may affect the credibility of the results:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">The sample size of only 37 men is very small.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">The study\u2019s author is affiliated with Andromedical Clinic, the manufacturer of the device.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">The study did not include a control group of men who did not use the device, so we can\u2019t rule out the placebo effect or other confounding factors.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">The study was presented at a congress and not peer reviewed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On the plus side, this market study includes statistical analysis that adds a level of scientific rigor to the findings. They, too, found Andropenis to be effective. In some cases, a modest lengthwise loss may occur.<\/p>\n<p>If you are thinking about using Andropenis, it may not make sense to use it for longer than six months.<\/p>\n<h4>Study Limitations<\/h4>\n<p>This clinical study appeared in a respected journal (BJU International), was peer-reviewed, and used objective measurements, lending credibility to the results.<\/p>\n<p>However, there are limitations to this study, as well:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">The study used a small sample size of only 21 participants.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">The study didn\u2019t include a control group of men who didn\u2019t use the device, so again, we can\u2019t rule out the placebo effect or other factors that could have affected the results.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">The Andropenis device was provided to the researchers free of charge, which could introduce bias to the study.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">The study relied on an unvalidated institutional questionnaire for treatment satisfaction, which can lead to subjective bias.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Other Studies<\/h4>\n<p>Other studies that evaluated the efficacy of Andropenis and drew similar conclusions, struggled with similar limitations.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/sources-web\/docs\/studies\/study_traction_effects_on_penile_size.pdf\">A Chinese study from 2005<\/a> found the device to be effective on 30 test subjects.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tau.amegroups.org\/article\/view\/118936\/html\">A 2023 literature review<\/a> concluded that penile traction devices like Andropenis may help with Peyronie\u2019s disease (curved penis), but do not help with length and erectile function.<\/p>\n<h3>What Do Users Say about Andropenis?<\/h3>\n<p>User feedback on Andropenis is surprisingly scarce.
