Do Erectin male enhancement pills break the pattern? Learn what\u2019s in Erectin, what the evidence has to say, whether Erectin is safe, and how to get real male enhancement.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>What Are Erectin Male Enhancement Pills?<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Erectin is an herbal supplement that, according to the site copy, will give you \u201cbigger, stronger erections,\u201d \u201cincrease orgasm intensity,\u201d and help you \u201clast longer and increase control.\u201d It also claims to be \u201cunlike anything you\u2019ve tried before,\u201d but if you\u2019ve ever taken herbal supplements, that\u2019s probably not the case.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>What Are the Ingredients of Erectin Male Enhancement Pills?<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you\u2019ve been reading <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edrugstore.com\/blog\/erectile-dysfunction\/prime-male-enhancement\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">our gas station sex pills series<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, there\u2019s little that will surprise you in Erectin\u2019s ingredients list.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Black pepper.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Black pepper or black pepper extract is popular in herbal supplements because it contains piperine, which has <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC8796742\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">been found to help<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with the uptake of nutrients and medications. The theory is that it will help you get more benefit from the rest of the herbs, although whether this is true hasn\u2019t yet been tested.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Hawthorn berry.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> There\u2019s been no research into hawthorn berry\u2019s possible impact on ED. That said, it may have some cardiovascular benefits, which may indirectly help with some types of ED. However, any potential benefits <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC7452443\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">come with risks<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and you should talk to your doctor if you\u2019re considering a hawthorn supplement.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Cuscuta chinensis<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. While the evidence seems promising, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC3739115\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the only erectile dysfunction study<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> we could find was conducted on rabbits, not humans. While animal models can indicate possible benefits for humans, human testing with large samples needs to be done before science can make a call.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Damiana.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> A traditional aphrodisiac, damiana hasn\u2019t been well-studied and seems so far to only have been looked at in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/article\/10.1007\/s002130050913\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rat models<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Epimedium. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Better known as \u201chorny goat weed,\u201d there is possibly some truth to the claim that this substance can help with ED. Epimedium has been found to contain icariin, which can have <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC3551978\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">an effect similar to Viagra<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, but how strong that effect is, and whether it has a meaningful impact, hasn\u2019t yet been proven.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Ginseng.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> A mainstay in Chinese herbal medicine, a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC8094213\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">systematic review of studies on ginseng and ED published in 2021<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> found little evidence that it helps with erectile dysfunction.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Muira puama. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A flowering plant from the Amazon, despite the claims it helps with ED, a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC7340557\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">comprehensive 2020 analysis of the herbs in ED supplements<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> didn\u2019t find any meaningful evidence of it having an effect on ED.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Saw palmetto.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Widely touted as a natural treatment for an enlarged prostate, not only has that claim struggled <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC4280071\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to be verified in the lab<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, saw palmetto <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bpspubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/full\/10.1111\/bcp.15129\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">might actually be a cause of ED<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in some circumstances.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Tribulus terrestis<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Also called caltrop, this herb has a reputation for boosting testosterone. The coating breaks down in the small intestine, which then releases gel caps. These are, supposedly, better for introducing the active ingredients into your bloodstream.<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edrugstore.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/2.jpeg-min-1.jpg\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While this is <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/thomasprocessing.com\/what-is-enteric-coating\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a real pharmaceutical coating<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and you\u2019ve likely taken a medication with one, we were unable to find any studies or analysis that found any benefit to herbs being metabolized in the small intestine instead of the stomach. If the gelcaps contained only the active ingredients from these herbs, then it might increase absorption. But as far as we can tell, they only contain the herb mixture, so any benefit from the coating is unclear.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Do the Ingredients in Erectin Work?<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Erectin doesn\u2019t help its scientific credibility with some statements on their website that don\u2019t hold up to scrutiny. First, the site claims that a clinical study was conducted with outstanding results. The problem is that it doesn\u2019t link to the study. If you scroll to the bottom of the website, you\u2019ll find a link to the study, or so it says. However, it only takes you up to the same banner on the website.<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edrugstore.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/2.jpeg-min-1.jpg\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Secondly, the brand touts the endorsement of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.drdavedavid.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr. Dave E. David<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, who\u2019s a regular guest on a wide range of TV shows discussing medical issues. While Dr. David is a legitimate licensed physician, he\u2019s an orthopedic surgeon, not a urologist, endocrinologist, or similar expert in erectile dysfunction. His endorsement is much like an athlete\u2019s endorsement, not a medical one.<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edrugstore.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/2.jpeg-min-1.jpg\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Not helping matters is that if you dig a little, you\u2019ll find that Erectin is made by the company Leading Edge Health. They\u2019re also behind another herbal supplement making similar claims, VigRX Plus. But you won\u2019t find any reference to that on the Erectin site, or that the formulations of the two are strikingly similar.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Are Erectin Male Enhancement Pills Safe?<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edrugstore.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/3.jpeg-min.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-35692\" src=\"https:\/\/www.edrugstore.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/3.jpeg-min.jpg\" alt=\"man smiling\" width=\"780\" height=\"411\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.edrugstore.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/3.jpeg-min.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/www.edrugstore.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/3.jpeg-min-300x158.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.edrugstore.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/3.jpeg-min-1024x540.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.edrugstore.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/3.jpeg-min-768x405.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.edrugstore.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/3.jpeg-min-1536x810.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 780px) 100vw, 780px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As far as we\u2019ve been able to determine, there\u2019s never been an injury or death related to Erectin. However, there are two key points you should keep in mind before taking any herbal supplement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">First, there is going to be some potential risk depending on your health, any medications you\u2019re taking, and other factors. If you\u2019re thinking about taking any herbal supplement, research it thoroughly and then talk about it with your doctor to anticipate possible contraindications or other problems. You may also be allergic to one or more components in the pill, so discuss those risks as well.<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edrugstore.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/3.jpeg-min.jpg\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Secondly, there\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edrugstore.com\/blog\/erectile-dysfunction\/male-enhancement-pills-over-the-counter\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the issue of quality control<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The regulations and requirements around herbal supplements are much looser than prescription medication; in fact, the FDA doesn\u2019t even need to be informed when a new product hits the market, as long as it falls within certain legal boundaries.<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edrugstore.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/3.jpeg-min.jpg\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While supplements made in America may have their facilities inspected, the FDA\u2019s reach stops at America\u2019s borders. Nothing on the Erectin site gets into detail on their supply chain, factory locations, or other information.
