Interestingly, toward the end of the study period, breast cancer, prostate cancer, and lung cancer mortality rates decreased somewhat in these age groups. However, they still remained higher than the cancer mortality rates of younger diabetics.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Diabetes and Colorectal Cancer: Risk Factors and Mortality Trends<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The risk of colorectal cancer death increased consistently for the 75-85 age groups, having started from a higher baseline.
