\nAcyclovir is a medication that\u2019s used in a variety of ways; topically, intravenously and orally. It\u2019s employed against many varieties of herpes virus, including genital herpes, cold sores, ocular herpes, and even rarer types of infection, such as herpes encephalitis.<\/p>\n
