Residents aren\u2019t surprised<\/strong><\/p>\n

Coleshill, which has a population of 6,343 people, is requesting and consuming more Viagra than any other city in England.<\/p>\n

Last year, 54.87 prescriptions per 1,000 men were issued an anti-impotency drug like Viagra.<\/p>\n

The residents of this North Warwickshire town say they\u2019re not bothered by the new nickname, saying it embraces the fun-natured town.<\/p>\n

Resident Des Christie told the Daily Mail<\/a> that the finding does not surprise him.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of older people living here who are young at heart and energetic,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Al Gorman, a resident who admits to using Viagra, says, \u201cI\u2019m not surprised we have more users than anywhere else in the country, because we\u2019re more fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

Viagra is one of several popular medications used to treat erectile dysfunction.<\/figcaption><\/figure>Martin Raybone, a 63-year-old insurance assessor, says \u201cWe\u2019re a fun bunch in Coleshill and it seems most of us enjoy happy, healthy sex lives.\u201d He added, \u201cPeople have well-paid jobs and decent pensions, and we like to go out or stay in and have a good time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reason behind the prescriptions<\/strong><\/p>\n
