Younger men face Erection Problems<\/strong><\/p>\n

A\u00a0research project conducted by Children\u2019s Memorial Hospital in Chicago found\u00a0nearly 13% of college-aged men experience occasional loss of erections, or ED, symptoms, with the percentage increasing among those who drink liquor regularly.<\/p>\n

The results, presented in San Francisco, at the Pediatric Academic Societies’ annual meeting, include:<\/p>\n

*95% of the participants were heterosexual; two-thirds were white.
\n*13% reported ever having difficulty getting or keeping an erection.
\n*25% reported ever losing an erection while putting on a condom.<\/p>\n

ED, no longer taboo<\/strong><\/p>\n

The study, which was the focus of an ABC news<\/a> story, shows younger men aren’t shy about talking to their doctor about erection medications like Viagra or Cialis.<\/p>\n

“These conclusions also led researchers to yet another unanticipated revelation,” a press release said.\u00a0 “As part of the study, a poll was administered which found that 6% of participants had taken Cialis, Levitra, or Viagra at some point to combat their instances of male impotence.”<\/p>\n

When asked, college students did believe their\u00a0troubles in the bedroom could be linked to abuse of narcotics and overuse of alcohol.<\/p>\n

Counseling suggested<\/strong><\/p>\n
