The researchers said the evidence \u201csuggests the need for diligent observation of at-risk men and reinforces the importance of early treatment to prevent CV events.\u201d<\/p>\n

Blankstein also stressed that the most important step a man can take to improve his underlying cardiovascular health and possibly improve erectile function is to quit smoking.\u00a0“Smoking is the single most important modifiable risk factor, both for heart disease and for erectile dysfunction,” he said.<\/p>\n
