Two California teenagers were arrested for allegedly drugging one of the girl\u2019s parents to get more time online. The daughter of the drugged parents have a cut off time on the internet, no surfing past 10pm. Apparently, that didn\u2019t sit well with their daughter, who offered to get milkshakes from a local store and allegedly dropped prescription sleeping pills in the icy drinks.<\/p>\n

Parents knocked out cold<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sleeping pills were apparently put in milkshakes and then given to adults.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The parents told police the milkshakes tasted a bit \u201cgrainy.\u201d The effects of a few sips was enough to put both of them too sleep for four hours. According to the Huffington Post<\/a>, the girls will be charged with conspiracy and ‘mingling pharmaceuticals with food.’<\/p>\n

According to police, the teenager and her friend thought the internet policy was too strict.<\/p>\n

“The girls wanted to use the Internet, and they’d go to whatever means they had to,” Lt. Lon Milka said.<\/p>\n

The parents took a drug test kit, which the police department sells for $5, and tested positive for the sleeping aid, confirming their suspicious of the funny tasting milkshake.<\/p>\n

Keeping parents in the dark<\/strong><\/p>\n

While most teens don\u2019t go to this extreme, they do make attempts to keep adults in the dark about their lives. It almost seems as though teens use a language of their own.
