Diseases and slight sicknesses that are fairly laughable now were a much bigger threat to the population but not many stories can be found relating to food contamination. There is something to learn from this and that lesson needs to be preserved in this day and age.<\/p>\n

Why is it that so many foods come in and out of state and country lines contaminated? Is poor handling to blame for it? Not always. It\u2019s actually a much larger and more widespread problem than that. Strangely this problem has a very simple solution and it fairly attainable for just about anyone. Not all of us are able to grow our own food or raise our own meat but that is the best fix to the contaminated food problem. Most of the produce and meat that comes to our local stores contaminated is due to the general unhealthiness of the animals<\/a>, farms and plants the goods are collected from.<\/p>\n

Flawed Mass Production<\/strong><\/p>\n

With anything mass produced, disease is a very realistic factor to face. Whether its genetic\"health flaws and deformities or unclean living conditions and improper feeding, this is a very serious problem and can spread rapidly through livestock<\/a> and produce. The best way around this issue is to not buy from companies who mass produce animals or produce. It is not sanitary no matter what they tell you. Animals turn cannibalistic when faced with difficult lives of small pens, improper feeding and sickness. This will rapidly spread sickness, infecting not only animals but the people who consume these animals.<\/p>\n

Be realistic when shopping, stay away from genetically altered foods or meats boasting extra vitamins. Try to only purchase meats and produce from a farms market or a reliable source. Discount grocery stores and big brand companies are often the culprit in spreading unclean food throughout our countries. Last but not least, make sure to always wash your food before eating it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
