At WebMD.com<\/a>, more than 200 users of the little blue pill gave it 4.3 out of 5 stars (86 percent positive) for ease of use, 3.76 stars (75.2 percent positive) for effectiveness, and 3.2 stars (72.4 percent positive) for overall satisfaction.<\/p>\n

\n1. In a review posted at EverydayHealth.com<\/a>, a 47-year-old who\u2019s suffered from ED for more than a year writes that he experienced \u201can erection of a 21-year-old\u201d after taking a 25-milligram tablet of Viagra. \u201cI would highly recommend Viagra,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n

2. Arthur, a man between 55 and 64 years of age, posts at WebMD that he has been taking Viagra for roughly 18 months and finds that the pill gives him a success rate of 85 to 90 percent. He recommends taking the medication on an empty stomach.<\/p>\n

3. In a review posted at Drugs.com<\/a>, username bhbest writes that his problem has been an inability to keep an erection long-lasting enough to complete the sexual activity, a problem he\u2019s now been able to solve with Viagra. He takes a 100-milligram tablet and reports minor side effects, such as a somewhat faster heartbeat and facial flushing.<\/p>\n

4. A user recovering from a radical prostatectomy 18 months earlier writes at WebMD that Viagra works only intermittently — about one-third of the time — for him and does cause a headache.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that Viagra is designed specifically to treat ED caused by compromised blood flow and has little if any, the benefit for patients with ED of psychological origin.<\/p>\n
