Two problems with \u201cViagra radio\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The illegal radio stations ran infomercials for erectile dysfunction drugs like Viagra, as well erectile dysfunction clinics, disguised as talk shows.<\/p>\n

Besides the fact that men with erectile dysfunction could fall prey to buying illegal Viagra, illegal broadcasts can also interfere with aviation signals. In August 2017, the military contacted the local radio management authority to report the interference.<\/p>\n

The illegal base stations can be created almost anywhere\u2014in this case, one was found in a taxi\u2014and can search for nearby cell phone signals and then send mass text messages. The two taxi drivers were driving around the city grabbing mobile phone numbers and by the time the police had caught them, they had sent more than 13 million messages in just seven months.<\/p>\n

Avoiding fake Viagra<\/strong><\/p>\n

So, what is the Chinese government doing to warn people about scams like \u201cViagra radio\u201d? right now, the police in Congquing, where this occurred, is doing the heavy lifting, warning the public to be wary of these types of medical scams and recommending that a platform is created to give the public a way to report these illegal broadcasts.<\/p>\n

Men with erectile dysfunction who want to get Viagra are advised to talk to their medical provider to get a legitimate prescription for the drug. Getting Viagra or worse, fake Viagra, off the black market is risky. At best, you\u2019ll waste your money and get a placebo that doesn\u2019t do anything for your erectile dysfunction. At worst, you\u2019ll get very sick, or even die, from the dangerous ingredients sometimes found in these fake Viagra.<\/p>\n
