    The risk for erectile dysfunction goes up with each drug or mediation a man takes.<\/p>\n

    According to an article in The Washington Post<\/em>, one study found that men between ages 45 and 69 who took three to five drugs were 15% more likely to have erectile dysfunction than men taking two or fewer.<\/p>\n

    The percent gets even greater for men who are taking six to nine drugs. They were 51% more likely to have erectile dysfunction.<\/p>\n

    • lowering the dosage of one or more medications you\u2019re currently taking<\/li>\n
    • switching to a new medication<\/li>\n
    • changing to a combination therapy of lower doses of several medications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      It may also be safe for you to simply add an erectile dysfunction drug, such as Viagra, Cialis or Levitra, to your current list.<\/p>\n

      They all require a prescription, which allows the FDA to ensure that they\u2019re safe and effective. <\/p>\n
