The professor confides that after a decade with his wife, his turn-ons are “a lot more pedestrian these days.” He goes on to say that simple intimacies, such as holding hands and cuddling, are far more likely to get him into the sack than the much bolder turn-ons of yesteryear.<\/p>\n

This suggestion comes from writer Pam Spurr in an article posted at the U.K. website of The Mirror<\/a>. Add candlelight and background music that you know he likes to make it truly a special occasion. Plan it in advance and pique his interest with tweets or texts as the special night approaches.<\/p>\n

Despite the tough-guy exterior they may show to the outside world, most men like to be reassured that the effort they are putting into their relationships is appreciated. Knowing that his contribution to the relationship is appreciated can help set the mood for romance.<\/p>\n
