The first time it occurred to me that it might be a good idea to buy Levitra online<\/a>, I was standing in line at my local pharmacy. My Levitra prescription was ready for pick up but a problem with the cash register was holding things up.<\/p>\n

She gave me an uneasy smile in return, followed by a quizzical expression I couldn’t quite figure out. "My God," I thought. Dismissing the notion as paranoid, I checked my watch, fiddled with my cell phone a bit, and went back to waiting. Paranoid, embarrassed, whatever… nothing was going to get between me and my Levitra prescription.<\/p>\n

Minutes later, the line was moving again, the old lady got her pills and gave me a nod (disapproving?) on her way out. My turn, finally. I stepped up to the counter, which was staffed by an attractive young woman of about thirty. She dug through a bin filled with prescriptions that were ready to be picked up. Again my mind began to wander. "Surely," I thought, "I’m the only one that’s come here to buy Levitra. Everyone else is no doubt here for a REAL problem: arthritis, diabetes, probably even cancer drugs!"<\/p>\n

I was just beginning to pledge to myself that the next time I needed it, I would buy Levitra online instead of enduring this agony of embarrassment when the young woman looked up from her bin and said, "Yup, here it is."<\/p>\n

She returned to the counter smiling, my Levitra prescription in hand. "Do you have any questions about how to take this?" she asked.<\/p>\n

Why can’t she just let me have my dignity, or at least let me skulk out quietly with my Levitra, and not ask me any questions?<\/p>\n

I caught myself, realizing that of course she was just doing her job, but I could swear I detected a knowing smirk in the corner of her mouth. "Um, no not really," I replied. "I’m fine, thanks."<\/p>\n

"OK, then," she said, handing me my Levitra prescription. "You have a nice day." I thanked her, pocketed my Levitra discreetly, and skulked out quietly.<\/p>\n

When I got home, I told my wife about the "ordeal" I had been through at the pharmacy. She was less than sympathetic. "What’s the big deal?" she wanted to know. "So you went there to buy Levitra. So what?"<\/p>\n

I was getting irritated now. "So what"!? You try going into a pharmacy to buy an erectile dysfunction drug<\/a> and see how you like it. You know honey, the Levitra is really for YOU," I added, only half-jokingly. "The least you could do is act a little grateful."<\/p>\n

"Want to know something? I think you’re really starting to lose it," she said. And even if they did know, it’s not like Levitra is some kind of illicit substance. It’s a legitimate medication that’s prescribed for a legitimate problem, right?"<\/p>\n

"But, it’s not really a problem, though… is it? I asked, taken aback.<\/p>\n

"Well, no, not really," she answered. "Not the way it is for some people at least. But the Levitra does give us some extra reassurance and helps you get ready again sooner, right?"<\/p>\n

"Definitely," I replied. "Look, I have no issues with taking the stuff. I just find it a bit awkward to buy Levitra at the pharmacy. You should have seen the look the woman behind the counter gave me."<\/p>\n

"What about this?" I asked, holding up the Levitra prescription I had brought home from the pharmacy. "Don’t we have to use this up first?"<\/p>\n
