Among other things, the ad pokes fun of Boehner\u2019s last name and his inability to maintain a backbone against Democrats. Part of the script says:<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes when a politician has been in DC too long, it goes to his head,\u201d the narrator says in the video. \u201cIf you have a Boehner lasting longer than 23 years, seek immediate medical attention.\u201d To see the full add, click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Winteregg\u2019s team says the commercial is provocative. Boehner\u2019s team didn\u2019t comment on the new ad, but a sitting speaker has never been defeated in a primary election, according to ABC News.<\/p>\n

Fallout from the ad<\/b><\/p>\n

Boehner\u2019s team may not have a comment, but the college that employs Winteregg did. The school, where Winteregg worked as an adjunct professor for three years, terminated his contract because of the ad. The small Baptist institution, which enrolls 3,400 undergraduate, graduate, and online students, says Winteegg\u2019s views did not match those of the school. Cederville University released this statement:<\/p>\n
