\"SayingDo we always say no when we mean no? Of course not. What drives us to say no when we mean yes? It may be the consequences of saying what we mean or possibly the way we will be viewed by society for making that choice. Let\u2019s take a short break<\/a> from our busy days to look into the real reason we are saying no to life.<\/p>\n

Fear<\/strong><\/p>\n

Likely the biggest reason we say, \u201cNo\u201d is because we are afraid of the outcome if we say, \u201cyes\u201d. \u00a0This isn\u2019t always a bad thing. This could be our most basic instincts screaming at us to run the other way. Primal intuition at it\u2019s finest. <\/p>\n

We should listen to these internal screams to avoid doing something we know is going to cause upset later down the road. If you\u2019re with some friends at a bar and you bump into your best friend\u2019s ex<\/a>, chances are you will be going against your basic natural to say, \u201cNo\u201d if you are attracted to him but on the flipside you would be a fool to say yes, especially given the location of the encounter!<\/p>\n

Now the outcome might be a bit different if you find yourself faced with a challenge such as\"Saying hanging out with some new friends but finding yourself saying, \u201cNo\u201d just simply out of fear that they might not like you or you might not like the place or something bad might happen. This is internal and one-on-one mind games. Just go if you\u2019re initial response was to go. You\u2019ll probably have a great time and wonder why you were being such a scaredy cat to begin with.<\/p>\n

Self Esteem<\/strong><\/p>\n

It could be that you are use to saying, \u201cno\u201d to everyone and everything because you are afraid of failure. Maybe you stopped hanging out with people because they all ended up nuts or maybe you always make a fool of yourself when you go out. Either way, you need to get a grip and grab life by the horns. You can sit in your comfort zone your entire life waiting for something amazing to come to you and fall in your lap or you can take the initiative and step out into the fast lane running as fast as you can and maybe, just maybe, you\u2019ll trip over something wonderful and stumble back into really living.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
