3 Top Podcasts for Men Concerned about ED and Wellness

The archives of health-related podcasts offer an ever-growing repository of useful consumer health information for men, women, and children. Of particular interest are those podcasts directed to the adult male audience that deal with virtually all aspects of male health and well-being, including matters of sexual function — and dysfunction.

Here is a brief overview of three podcasts that we think are especially useful to men who seek to promote their overall health and well-being and also preserve and protect sexual function.

The Well Man’s Podcast: Taking a more natural path toward wellness, this fulsome collection of podcasts covers a wide array of health topics, ranging from acid reflux and flu vaccine to adaptogenic herbs and the pros and cons of coffee consumption. Despite its title, much of the content here is suitable for women as well as men.

This podcast is the brainchild of North Carolina-based naturopathic doctor Keoni Teta, co-author of The Metabolic Effect Diet, and Bryan Brozy, a certified personal trainer and exercise physiologist. Other frequent contributors to the podcasts are Jillian S. Teta and Jade Teta, who are partners with Keoni Teta in the Naturopathic Health Clinic of North Carolina.

The Bloke Support Podcast: Available through, this gem from Down Under is hosted by Rodney Owen, a member of the Australian Counsellors Association. Owen founded the podcast after a near-death experience. Although an emphasis on health and well-being underlies the content here, the issues addressed are broad and include such topics as work-life balance, anger management, mental illness, and depression.

Topics include “How to Find the Perfect Job,” “Living with Depression,” “Breaking the Silence on Male Victims of Domestic Violence,” “Why Men Don’t Listen,” and “How to Be Romantic.”

Adventures with My Penis: Also available through the network of podcasts, this one is hosted by Ben Clark. He describes it as “a podcast about penis health, penis size, sexuality, gender issues, life, and whatever else I feel like discussing.” He warns those who are easily offended to steer clear of this podcast, which is “raw, uncensored, and uncut.”

Sample titles from the archives of the podcast include “Why We Are FAT!” “Sacred Sexual Empowerment,” “Erectile Dysfunction — A Hard Look!” and “Gender and Sexuality — Didja Know?”
