Humorous Viagra commercials hit airwaves

We’ve all seen the typical erectile dysfunction commercial.  A man and woman are doing some everyday chore and suddenly they’re in the mood.  Other commercials encourage men to talk to their doctor about troubles they may be having in the bedroom, trying to remove the embarrassment associated with sexual hurdles.  Those commercials are a thing of the past.  Now Pfizer, the maker of Viagra, is rolling out some new ads.

The commercials show a group of buddies doing some sort of outdoor activity like golfing, without one of their buddies. 

The joke is one of the guys ran off to have a little fun in the bedroom and left his friends.  Each commercial ends with a satisfied looking man saying, ‘Sorry guys’ and then a picture of the little blue pill pops up on screen.

The only kicker is, the commercials will only be aired in Canada.  “As always, with Viagra we want to create an icebreaker to encourage men to speak with their partners and physician – and we’re excited to see how Canadians like the newest series of Viagra advertising,” Christian Roy, Vice President of Marketing, Pfizer Canada said in a news release.

The commercials have just made their debut and will run for the next few months.

1.  Get into the mood
Viagra won’t give you an instant erection. It only works when you’re sexually aroused.

2.  Take your time
Viagra can work for up to 4 hours. So relax. There’s plenty of time. Begin by taking Viagra 30 minutes to 1 hour before having sex.

3.  Eat smart before you start
Viagra is effective with or without food and alcohol. But to get the quickest results, avoid high-fat meals 2 hours before taking Viagra. A fatty meal slows your body’s ability to absorb the drug.
